The following handout gives you assistance about the overview of booking process, reading it makes the steps of the procedure smoother. In order to gain information about all possibilities and conditions please read the following guidance thoughtfully.
Payment happens on the website of CIB Bank.CIB Bank’s online payment system allows the use of cards such as MasterCard and VISA and VISA Electron (though the use of VISA Electron is subject to the permission of the issuing bank), as well as webcards specifically designed for online use.
CIB Bank has a 128-bit encryption key, which protects the communication channel.
- The ticket
Valid for journeys starting from Budapest, types of the tickets are the following:
- For dated one way
- For dated return
- For dated outward, and open dated return
For the Budapest/Győr- Wien service (760), the Budapest-Krakow (305) service and the Budapest/Győr-München service (780) the fifth free ticket claimed on the basis of the "regular passenger" discount can not be booked via internet. The first second etc. tickets can be bought online, and they will be signed onto the regular passenger card when collecting the ticket. Ticket(s) for live animal transport can not be bought via internet at present; this kind of fare can be purchased only at our ticket offices personally. (only possible on the Budapest-Wien line)

- After sending the order please follow the steps of "payment program with credit card" (more information can be found on the website of CIB Bank)
- You will get a confirmation about the successful transaction and booking via e-mail, we ask you to print it out.
- Collect your ticket(s) at the international ticket office of the Népliget coach station by giving the reference code found on the confirmation
- The fares
Discounts: classified as
- Resorted with different conditions
The program offers fares calculated on the basis of the resorted basic and "age" discounts. In case all requirements are fulfilled and you undertake the conditions linked to the discount ticket, you could travel with more attractive prices. To resort the most attractive ticket we inform you about the following:
- The "Net Price" includes the biggest discount, available only in limited number.
- Providing 40 % off price in case the ticket purchase is min. 30 days before departure. Discount is called: Bonus 40
- Providing 25 % off price in case the ticket purchase is min. 20 days before departure. Discount is called: Bonus 25
- Providing 15% off price in case the ticket purchase is min. 10 days before departure. Discount is called: Bonus 15
- Providing 10% off price in case the ticket purchase is min. 5 days before departure. Discount is called: Bonus 10
In case of purchasing ticket(s) with discounts please do not forget to read the conditions (modification, refund etc.) by clicking onto the "type of the ticket" button
- Collect the ticket(s)
You will get a confirmation via e-mail after the transaction succeeded. The ticket(s) can be collected prior to the departure at the international ticket office of the Népliget coach station (depending of the opening hours of the office and check in) by the buyer or the passenger, by having the reference code shown on the confirmation and having a valid document to prove one�s identity, i.e. an identity card, a passport or a driving licence (new, card-type). In case a third person would like to pick up the tickets, he or she will need an authorization from the buyer or the passenger, and will need to be able to prove his/her identity. Before issuing and handing over the ticket(s) -in case of ticket-purchase with discounts- we will control the warrant for discounts, to pick up the tickets it is necessary to show the valid documents that entitle the passenger to the discount, e.g. a valid Hungarian or ISIC student card in case of a student discount.
You can pick up your ticket during the opening hours of the international ticket office and the check-in desk, 3 hours after purchasing the ticket as earliest.
In case of invoice needed we ask you to give the necessary data during the purchase. Invoice about the sum paidcan be picked up at Népliget coach station in the international ticket office at the time of picking up the ticket.

We offer the check-in service on the following lines:
- 771 Budapest-Firenze-(Roma, Napoli)
- 773 Budapest-(Torino-Genova)
- 780 Budapest-Frankfurt
- 791 Budapest-Rotterdam
- 792 Budapest-London
- 795 Budapest-Paris
We don't offer the check-in service on the line No.784 (to Prague, Dresden, Berlin, Magdeburg, Braunschweig, Hamburg) and on the connecting line No. 786 (to Kobenhavn), therefore the tickets bought online to these lines can be picked up only during the opening hours of the international ticket office.
We don't offer the check-in service on the line No. 760 (to Vienna Airport and Vienna) therefore the tickets bought online to this line can be picked up only during the opening hours of the international ticket office.
The tickets purchased together can not be collected separately only together.
- Modifications
Modification and refund available only personally at the international ticket office of Népliget coach station. A refund or modification can be asked for by the buyer or passenger marked in the confirmation e-mail. A third person may ask for it only in case of having a valid authorization from the buyer or passenger and proving his/her identity.
Modification of the issued and collected tickets - similar to the ticket purchased at the international ticket office - occurs on the basis of the valid modification and refund rules.
In case any claims arise for modification - for a later service or etc. - before issuing the ticket(s), the original data on the booking-confirmation will be changed to the new one certified with your sign. Issuing of the tickets will be made according to the modified data. Modification is charged with extra fee determined by the rules.
In case the modification results changes in the fares (from high season to off season or back..etc), you must pay out or will get back the margin.
Refund of the issued and collected tickets similar to the tickets purchased at the international ticket office occurs on the basis of the valid modification and refund rules.
- Passenger insurance
The ticket(s) purchased in internet- similar to personal purchase - don not cover passenger insurance; it can be taken out at the international ticket office of Népliget coach station.04. 10. 2009. Budapest
